Daily writing prompt
What are the most important things needed to live a good life?

We’ve talked about this one a lot — usually around 2 a.m., when someone’s burnt out and another one is eating cereal straight from the box.

And here’s what we’ve landed on.
A good life isn’t built from checklists.
It’s built from moments that feel like yours.

You need people — even just a few — who let you show up as the messy, brilliant, half-figured-out version of yourself.
You need space to grow without apologizing for it.
You need something to care about more than likes or deadlines.
You need sleep that feels earned.
Laughter that surprises you.
And food that doesn’t come with guilt.

You need enough money to not panic every day.
Enough silence to hear yourself think.
And enough chaos to remind you you’re still alive.

Most of all?
You need permission — from yourself — to stop chasing “perfect” and start collecting real.

That’s a good life. Or at least, it’s a start.
