For Just One Day? I’d Like to Be a Michelin Inspector.

There’s something mysterious and powerful about being the shadowy figure who decides if a restaurant gets one star, two, or the elusive three. Imagine walking in, silent and anonymous, knowing every tiny detail you observe could change the course of a chef’s career—or break it. I’d savor the art, the precision, and the pressure of tasting dishes crafted by people at the top of their game, all while pretending I’m just another diner.

And let’s be honest, the idea of eating my way through a 12-course tasting menu and judging it with absolute authority? Yes please. Just for one day, though—I don’t want the guilt of shattering dreams for a living.

An intriguing inspector for a day sounds exciting, especially to be anonymous.

Right? There’s something so fun about being undercover with that much power.. silently judging bread baskets and perfectly timed risottos.
