Winter.
Easily.
Not because I like being cold — I don’t.
But there’s something about winter that makes the world quieter.
Less pressure to be out. Less pretending everything’s fine.
You’re allowed to slow down.
To bundle up.
To disappear for a bit without explanation.
Everything feels more intentional in winter.
The way you drink your coffee.
The layers you wear.
Even your thoughts — they feel heavier, but clearer.
It’s the season where I get most of my thinking done.
The best ideas usually come when my hands are half-frozen and I’m pacing in a hoodie I should’ve replaced three years ago.
So yeah — give me winter.
Give me stillness, grey skies, and the excuse to pause.
I don’t thrive in the sun.
I rebuild in the cold.
